Message from the Principal
A Note from Principal Sirmons
Welcome to LUMIN Schools, Northwest Lutheran, where learning shines as bright as the sun on a summer's day! I am ecstatic that you have considered joining our incredible learning community. I appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment to educational excellence, and I look forward to working with you and your children.
I am honored to serve as the principal of Northwest Lutheran. I am a devoted Milwaukee native who grew up in 53206; some would consider it to be one of the worst zip codes to reside in. I attended John Marshall High School and obtained a Master of Arts in education afterward. My early philosophy was to do God's work and prepare our children to be successful community members.
Our staff is planning and preparing for your children. We will continue to provide safe Christian schools focused on educational success, leadership development, and spiritual growth for our students. By doing so, we are confident that we will cultivate servant leaders—young individuals who strive to effect positive change in their own lives and the communities in which they live. Indeed, we are a joyful and compassionate community with the shared mission of cultivating responsible, Christ-centered students and fostering advanced learning.
Our academic program places a strong emphasis on preparing students for the future. We have faith in our students and their incredible potential! We encourage our students to challenge themselves academically in preparation for post-high school success. We will continue to develop the school and national administrators of the future!
I pray that God will continue to provide Northwest with the resources, love, and heavenly grace to serve our students and extended family.
Mrs. Sirmons, Principal
