SNSP (Special Needs Scholarship Program)Contact: Special Education Coordinator, Philip Malugade, [email protected]
Northwest Lutheran Schools currently has a full time SNSP teacher on site.
Focus: SNSP teachers are responsible for creating learning plans for students who currently have IEP’s (Individual Education Programs)
- SNSP teachers meet with students throughout the week to work on goals aligned to their IEP and learning plan goals.
- SNSP teachers use a variety of resources such as mClass and UFLI to support students in meeting their IEP goals.
Title Services
Focus: Title offers small group support to build student’s foundational skills for reading and math
- Full time Title Math and Reading services are currently offered at Northwest Lutheran School for students in need of Math and Reading support.
Reading Corps
Reading Corps is individual tutoring to build foundational reading skills for grades K-3.
Counseling Services

- LCFS (Lutheran Child and Family Services) - partner to provide (mental health) therapy services on campus, billed through insurance.
Social Work - May provide direct support service to students struggling with behavioral or emotional issues.
- Work on campus with leadership team and Teachers.
Interns - Currently limited number of students, looking to build a bigger program for next year.
- Offers one on one support on site, as well as social emotional activities/lessons.
Health Services

- Individual Healthcare Plans/Emergency Plans: For students with health conditions.
- Dental screenings: Free dental screenings are offered to families, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealant placement. These screenings are provided 1-2 times per school year during the school day.
- Immunization Reporting Vision/Hearing screenings.
- Stock epi-pen program.
- Health training for LUMIN staff.
